Trauma occurs in many ways. For some, it is a result of childhood events such as Sexual Abuse, Verbally or Physically abusive homes, Alcoholism, etc. For others, trauma is a result of Accidental events, such as car accidents, workplace accidents, loss of loved ones, or even Worldwide tragedies. It is very important that a person seeks help to recover from such trauma's. The emotional scarring of such events can dramatically impact your relationships, your job, and often leads to isolating behaviours. It may be scary to consider facing the fears that have occurred in these events, but with gentle guidance you can learn how to manage, and get beyond the bondage that hinders you from living as you desire to. Some trauma can lead to various forms of Dissociation. Dissociation can vary from difficulty concentrating (daydreams) to Dissociative Identity Disorder.
